Brathwaite is the man who now is the new hero for the West Indies. This is something extraordinary that the world of cricket has just witnessed. West Indies have done it. they were out of the game and then at the end they won it by hitting three sixes in the final over.
West Indies lost they’re early lost their main men and only Samuels was left in the crease. at that point it was thought that men from the West Indies will lose this one. West Indies lost Gayle and Carles in the first over.
They were not chasing a big total but the thing was that they kept on losing wickets. Charles then Gayles and then every other major stakeholder from the West Indies went out. The score was not moving and it seems West Indies will not make it through.
In the final over 19 runs were required and Samuels who was settled was at the nonstriking end. Brathwaite was the batting and he hit not one but 4 back to back sixes and when the final hit was played the scenes changed at the Eden Gardens.
The crowd was on the top of their voices and there were a jammed packed appearances near the fences. The west Indian players were charging into the ground. there was a dance and there were celebrations. Brathwaite the new hero forth West Indies was in the center holding his bat like the real champion. This is why the West Indies love this team and the whole world as well. they love their cricket and they make people enjoy with them as well.
