Stunning T20 cricket, 365 runs, 36 sixes

Almost a decade ago the world was struck with a great natural catastrophe in the form of Tsunami. Almost many people lost their lives and millions became homeless. As he world was helping with all the best possible relief work, the world of cricketers also stepped into help the people affected.

A three-match series was played in New Zealand between the kiwi nation cricket team and world eleven. The world eleven was led by Shane Warne and his team has names like Muralitharan, Sangakkara, Elliot, Harvey and many others.

The series was played to get a large number of audiences and the money collected from the tickets was to be given to the relief work. It was a noble cause and the people in New Zealand took part in it with open hearts.

In one of the games played at the beautiful ground of Hamilton, the rain forced the game to be reduced to 10 overs per side. New Zealand batted first and scored 178 runs in their 10 overs. The two openers Syria and Mills hit 44 and 38 runs.

Later McMillan came in and blasted 63 off 19 balls. He was just standing and hitting sixes one after the other. The idea was to give the crowd plenty of entertainment.

The world eleven did well in their innings as well. They too get to 178 but could not finish the game and it ended up as a tie. Both the teams made 178 but the main thing was that two hundred and twenty-six thousand dollars were collected from that single game. The purpose was achieved and both the teams were happy to be a part of a great noble cause.
