Marlon Samuels for a good number of months has been quiet about the Shane Warne controversy while are on the other hand made a lot of comments about him and his game. but anymore, last night the reply was given and it was quite strong from Samuels.
The two have a history and their rift started back in BBL when the two faced off and had a pretty intense verbal fight. Samuels at one point of that fight lost his cool and threw his bat away. At that moment, the people knew there will be more of it.
Then Warne started commenting on the game and the way Samuels play. The run out Samuels faced in the Sydney test was another episode of this rivalry chapter. Warne was sitting behind the mic in that game and he again took a dig at Samuels.
In the recent World t20 game against India, Warne once again criticized Samuels for the way he got out. He said that that was not rational at all. Samuels is a number 3 batsman and his technique are something not suitable for this number.
Last night Samuels scored an unbeaten 85 and took Wet Indies home in the finals of the world t20. At the presentation ceremony, he replied back to Warne. Samuels said that he would like to reply Wane with this man of the match award.
He said that he was quiet for all this time because he believes in giving it back with e bat and not mouth. Samuels surely stunned a lot of audience with his reply. It also clearly showed that he has not forgotten anything and was just waiting for the right moment.
