The start of the second innings of the Zalmi cup final was pretty interesting. Pakistan’s test fast bowler Imran Khan Jr.had the ball in his hands and we all know that he can swing both the new and old ball and yesterday he swung it massively.
The amount of swing was this much that Imran himself faced issues in controlling it. The first ball wavered and after it pitched on the leg stump line it swung away from the batsman and by the time it reached the wicket keeping area it was out of the reach f the wicket keeper.
The second ball was a good one, this time, Imran bowled it more into the line of the stumps but after hitting the thigh pad of the batsman the deviation took his ball again to the deep fine leg fence for the second four for the over.
On the third all the batsman went out of his crease to hit a big one and was beaten all ends up but the late swing again took the ball away from the wicket keeper and again the results were the same like the first two balls.
Imran Khan conceded three fours on his first two legitimate balls and none of them came off the bat. it was just the massive swing which took the ball away from the poor wicket keeper who was clearly struggling behind the stumps. He put his best efforts to stop the ball but each time there was so much swing on the ball that he got beaten three times on three back to back balls. Imran then altered his length as well just to keep control of the swing.
