Abdul Razzaq 3 magical dismissals against Tendulkar

Abdul Razzaq remains one of the best all-rounders for Pakistan in the history of cricket. His bowling and batting won Pakistan many games. Back in 2000 during the Carlton and United Bank ODI series between Pakistan, India and hosts Australia, he was the nightmare for Sachin Tendulkar.

Razzaq was young at that time and used to swing and seam the ball a lot and batsman like Tendulkar used to face all the difficulties in the world to get through him.

In 4 pool games, Razzaq was able to take Tendulkar out three times. In the first game, he had the middle stump out of the ground and Tendulkar looked absolutely clueless on this one.

The ball came in with the angle of the hand; it had the swing and pitched a very good length as well. Tendulkar tried to cover the in-swing by offering a shot on the leg side but the speed of the ball beats him over all.

The ball went in between his bat and pad and knocked out the middle stump. In the second game, Razzaq bowled a genuine leg cutter to Tendulkar. This ball once again came in with the swing but just after pitching the seam movement took the ball away from the right-hander.

Tendulkar went for a straight bat shot but the ball passed his blade and hit the top of the off stump. In the third game, the pressure of facing Razzaq was enough for Tendulkar to edge a wide ball which he could have easily left alone.

This ball did nothing and was pretty much straight but Tendulkar went for it and as a result, a healthy edge was produced behind and Pakistani wicket keeper Moin Khan grabbed it as easily as one can imagine. Tendulkar was once again on his way back.
