The Mohammad Amir we see now as an accomplished young fast bowler has a history of pain and suffering. Now only this but the untold stories about a career-threatening back injury and a near death experience in Malaysia.

Amir did not care much about the injury and kept on bowling until it gets worst. He was taken to the hospital and after the examination of his back; the doctors said that because his back has L3 and L5 injuries, he will not be able to bowl again.

Amir went back to Pakistan and met Mudassir Nazar. Mudassir in those days was the head of the NCA. He asked Amir to stay in NCA for a year. He provided Amir a physio just for his training and look after.

After one Amir recovered from his injury and successfully started bowling again. Amir in the very next year went to Malaysia with the under-19 team for the world cup.
