Warner and Sharma sledging and fighting

In the modern cricket, we have noticed that aggressiveness not matters a lot and every player wants to dominate in this field. In the old days, only he bowlers were known to be aggressive one but not anymore.

Now every player no matter he bowls or bat comes out with an aggressive frame of mind. This aggressiveness hence causes a lot of verbal wars between players. One such moment came when Australian opener David Warner had a verbal argument with Indian opener Rohit Sharma.

This happened in an ODI game in which India was batting. Sharma stroked the ball to Warner who was stationed at the edge of the circle at mid-off.

Sharma was interested in a single but his partner Suresh Raina sent him back. Warner in the meantime picked up the ball and threw it casually towards the stumps. The ball hit the pad of Sharma and went to an empty place towards the third man zone.

Sharma took a single and Warner was surprised by his decision. Warner could not resist himself and went near to Sharma as the over completed and acquired about the single.

Sharma and Warner then started a debate and then the world saw then sledging each other. Warner was pretty discriminating to Sharma saying speak English to him. The two umpires had to intervene and Raina came between the two players. The matter was later reported to the match referee who fined both the players. Warner was penalized more than Sharma because of his remarks. Warner, on the other hand, did his best to answer back Sharma for what he was saying.
