Afghan team head coach Inzamam is pretty satisfied with the performance of his boys in the world t20 so far. Afghanistan remained undefeated in the three qualifying games and then jumped into the main round in Group A.
Inzamam said that the reason for this development is that the players want a win all the time. All the players are hardworking ones and they always keep themselves fit. There are a few players who have now taken experience from playing in the other leagues as well.
The best thing is that Afghanistan cricket board is taking the domestic cricket very seriously. The board is spending a lot of resources on the development of domestic cricket and they want to meet the international level in this domain.
Under 19 and other domestic tournaments are the two major pipelines from where all the talent comes and Afghan cricket board knows it well. They are working hard and challenging themselves in this field.
Inzamam believes that after a few years, the Afghanistan cricket team will surely be among one of the best sides of the world. The team has made a few upset but still they lack experience and as a result, they don’t get close to finishing off the game in their favor.
